Vesper Dynamics builds AI agents that run unattended: they hold their own state, act on instructions in the language you already use, and account for every step they take. Named for the evening star, which is out while the rest of the sky is empty.


What we build

Agents with a memory and a paper trail.

Most AI tools forget everything the moment a conversation ends. The systems we build do not. An agent of ours keeps a durable record of the work it is doing, picks it up days later without being reminded, and leaves behind a log any auditor can read.

We work on agents that handle correspondence, keep long-running projects moving, prepare documents, and answer for what they did. They run on a server, not in a browser tab, and they keep running when nobody is watching.


How we build it

Three commitments, in this order.

The order matters: each one only holds if the one before it does.

  1. 01

    A thin shell around a capable core

    Code handles mail, files, scheduling and the safety rails. Every judgement call, every piece of understanding, belongs to the model. We do not hand-write the thinking, and we do not ask the model to be the plumbing.

  2. 02

    State lives in files, not in sessions

    Continuity comes from documents on disk, not from a conversation history that has to be kept alive. That makes an agent restartable, portable, inspectable, and cheap to back up. You can read its memory in a text editor.

  3. 03

    Safety is enforced in code, not requested in prompts

    Who may talk to the agent, who it may write to, what it may touch: these are checks in the program, not instructions in a prompt. An instruction can be talked around. A check cannot.
